By Their Actions

So let me see if I can understand this. The Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Brevik is suppose to be a Christian? The media was waiting for something like this to try and equate Christianity with radical Islam. Except there is one problem:

Matthew 7:15  "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  16 "You will know them by their fruits.

Jesus is saying that it doesn’t matter what this terrorist claims to be, he’s a ravenous wolf.

Verse 16 cont’d. “Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles”?

Matthew 7:17 "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.”

This guy is a murderer and I as a Christian condemn what he did, and according to Jesus he is NOT a Christian.

Matthew 7:18 "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 "Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

It is amazing that so many so-called reporters in the media try to justify themselves in their not receiving Jesus as Savior by pointing to this guy.  Believe it or not they are even pointing to the crusades that happened over 700 Years ago. Their goal is to try to condemn Christianity as being evil and harmful.

I would hope that those of you reading this message,  know  and understand this truth of the Gospel of the Grace of God.

John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

True Christianity is to love one another. Not murder, not terrorize, but love. If you are not doing that, then I don’t care what you are calling yourself, you are not a Christian.
