Election Day for City Council 4/2

I encourage everyone to cast your vote for your local city council representative. This is your civic duty. This election is mail in ballot only, which means it is necessary that your ballot is in the City Clerk's office by 7:00 pm April 2nd. Cast your vote for who you believe in.

"As Christians we need to stop stepping aside and start stepping up". As the city goes, so does the state. Go to springsgov.com, then city council, search district maps, then type in your address to determine which district you are, it is now your responsibility to investigate the candidates of your district so that you may vote based on your beliefs.

Redeem the Time

We all start out on an even plain, each getting 24 hours every day. It is very important that we make good use of that time. The apostle Paul advocated "redeeming" our time, not wasting any precious minutes. We must understand that God has made us stewards over our irreplaceable possession - time! Let's use it wisely, in a constructive manner, in the service of our Lord.

Colossians 4:5 ......redeeming the time.

Happy Thanksgiving! Our prayer is that you enjoy the love of family and friends during these special holiday times. What a great opportunity we all have to remember all that God has done for us through His son Jesus Christ. So many things are happening in the world today. Wars, famine, financial ruin, but you and I can still have joy and be thankful that we have Jesus as our Savior. As others around us are sufferinng, we have the peace, provision and protection of God.

You too can enjoy the benefits of what God has. If you have not received Jesus as Savior please go to our "Salvation" page and you can receive Him today. You will be making this your greatest Thanksgiving ever!
